Difficult jobs are our specialty. Tearing down this oceanfront home and building a larger one to suit its new owners would have required moving the new structure further from the shoreline to comply with state regulations. Instead, we rebuilt the house where it stood, from the inside out. First we jacked up the wooden structure and enlarged and replaced the existing foundation. Then we reframed each floor in a different configuration, adding new rooms and porches, replacing all the plumbing and electrical work, installing all new windows and doors, as well as a new wood roof and wood shingle siding.
