I've been meaning to write and thank you for the wonderful job that Aanensens did for us! First, let me say that your design to change the existing layout was 'right on'. Not only do we have more cabinet space, but the whole area in and around the kitchen island gives us so much more room. Number one on my renovation 'wish list' was a new kitchen where we could entertain more easily. Well, stating it simply, the new 'flow' has made cooking efficient and entertaining easy, and fun!

Making the personal choices for new kitchen could have been overwhelming task, but you wouldn't let that happen! Your recommendations for the retail stores for new appliances, lights and plumbing fixtures were immediate and excellent - we are very happy with the products. But most importantly, taking the time to meet me at the granite, lighting and tile showrooms to guide me through the decision process was so helpful. Though many of these types of decisions are dictated by personal style, you took special care and patience to show me how each piece of the puzzle affects the other, explaining the pros and cons of certain decisions. Right down to the paint and wood stain colors, your recommendations were invaluable.

We can't say enough nice things about the subcontractors you brought in to work on our renovation. The granite installers, flooring company, painters and electricians were polite, professional, neat, and their work was beautiful. Lastly, but certainly not least, working with everyone at Aanensens was such a pleasure! As you explained, renovating an older home can sometimes be a challenge, and our 80 year-old house was no exception to the rule. Peter and crew did a fantastic job getting the cabinets 'just right' and Peter's finish work was meticulous. The constant (and instant) communication with everyone was very comforting during thisproject. On a daily basis, I was either in touch with you, Ted or Marge by email for questions/answers/updates, or we would see you or Ted at the house checking on the progress, which allowed us to speak in person.

You and Ted were always in contact with the on-site crew -- nothing was overlooked. And, can't forget to say it, the renovation was completed exactly when you said it would be completed - and we had a beautiful Thanksgiving with our families - I think that I have to thank you most for that!

Of course, we hope we have the opportunity to work you with again in the future. Best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009 to you, Ted, your families and everyone at Aanensens!
